Do I need a wedding planner?
Hiring a wedding planning will save you time and will reduce your stress – two major things you could do with when planning your wedding.
Did you know that planning your wedding can take around 250 hours? If you’ve got a family, work away from home, commute, have an extremely busy social life or work life, or just a lot of commitments, then finding those extra 250 hours, to manage and plan your wedding, can prove difficult!
You may not realise it at first, but hiring a wedding planner will indeed save you time, leaving you free to enjoy the finer things in life and (of course) in wedding planning!
My venue has an event coordinator, do I need your services too?
There is a huge misconception that a Venue Coordinator is the same as a Wedding Planner. Unfortunately, that’s just not true.
A Venue Coordinator works for the venue whilst a Wedding Planner works for you!
A Wedding Planner, will manage and coordinate all your deliveries, ensure that everything is set-up exactly to the way you want, manage the running of the day and break it all down in the evening, making sure that everything is packed correctly ready for collection. Whereas a Venue Coordinator, may take deliveries, but it’s not their job to manage them and coordinate with the suppliers, nor is it their job to set-up all your decor, break it all down or make sure the best man is ready for his speeches.

We've never been to the UK before, will this be a problem?
Not at all! You’ll absolutely love it here!
Though if you wanted to organise a trip before then you can definitely do that and if you can’t then that’s not a problem either.
I’ll make sure that everything is arranged so that everything is ready for when you arrive.
We're not based in the UK and there's a time difference, how would we go about communicating during the planning process?
Since we’re in different countries, the majority of the time, I like to communicate via Skype. That way we can get the “in person” meetings too that my couples and clients get if they are based in the UK.
Dealing with the time difference is no problem at all either. Most of our communication will be across email and any pre-booked consultations will be at a time that suits you! I work around you, so you don’t have to worry about being up too early or too late to make a call, or having to duck out of work.
What do we need to have done prior to contacting you?
Nothing really! Knowing that you want to know more is probably a good idea but other than that we can discuss everything during your consultation!
Where in South Africa do you offer your services?
At the moment, I organise weddings in the “Pearls of South Africa”, which include areas like Cape Town, Stellenbousch, Franschhoek and Paarl.
However, I’m happy to plan your dream wedding anywhere in South Africa. So whether you’re dream wedding location is on a beach, a private wine estate or something a bit more on the “wilder” side, I’m here to help (and totally up for anything!)
Where in the UK do you offer your services?
I’m based in Greater London and cover the home counties, so, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex, Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
However, if you are looking for something further afield then I’m more than happy to travel.
We've never been to South Africa before, can we still get married there?
Definitely! South Africa Destination weddings are my signature so I can help you every step of the way.
I also work with some amazing travel companies, that can assist you with accommodation, booking flights and all the activities in-between!
Do you plan elopements?
I certainly can! An elopement for me is anything up to 18 guests, so if you’re looking for a really intimate wedding, then I would technically class this as an elopement.
I've already booked my venue, can we still hire you for Full Planning?
Definitely! Just let me know when you’re enquiring and I’ll factor that in when creating your proposal.
Will you be there on the day?
Definitely! After all that planning and getting to know you, there’s no way that I would miss it!
Plus I need to be there to make sure everything comes together, the set-up is exactly as we’ve planned and the whole day runs smoothly making sure that everyone is where they need to be and when. I’ll even be there to make sure that everything is packed away and ready for collection!
We've already booked our venue and most of our suppliers. Do you offer a partial planning service?
I certainly do! Just drop me a quick email with what you’re interested in and we’ll create a bespoke service based on your needs and requirements.
We're having a marquee wedding and have booked all our suppliers, it is necessary to hire you for Wedding Day Management?
In short, most definitely! Having a marquee wedding whether it be a home, a family member’s house, a friends or even on the venue you’ve booked’s land, there is a lot of work that’s involved in the set-up and the breakdown as well as the general running of the day.
Instead of you having to worry about scheduling deliveries and making sure that everything has arrived, that everyone has the right access, setting everything up and clearing everything up on the night, why not let me deal with all of that so you can enjoy your big day as you should!
